FSA issues guidance to caterers and restaurateurs following outbreaks of E. coli in France and Germany

Recent reports of E. coli cases in France, which followed on from those reported in Germany, have led the Food Standards Agency (FSA) to revise guidance on the consumption of sprouted seeds such as alfalfa, mung beans (usually known as bean sprouts) and fenugreek.
