Boutique contract caterer, bartlett mitchell, has achieved two of the top honours at this week’s Annual Springboard Awards for Excellence held at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel in London, winning both the Best Employer Award and the New Media Award.
The New Media Award recognises the strides bartlett mitchell has made using social media, not only for their ‘Big Conversation’ joining their external marketing and internal communications, but also for their new video training initiative. The judges also commented on the quality of the company’s initiatives in workforce demographics.
Wendy Bartlett, Managing Director, said, “This is amazing news to win two awards in one night. When we launched the company in 2000, we set out to be a ‘best employer’ and consistent awards for our people initiatives over the years have shown that we’ve never let this focus slip. It’s testament to the great work of our HR Director June Harvey, and the team, and their incredibly creative approach to training, development, reward and recognition.
“We‘ve also worked hard on integrating social media into our business over the past couple of years and this has really helped us engage with our customers and our own team too. Customers today are seeking out more information and extra contact with the people they work with and our social media work has facilitated these conversations.”
