The 19th Annual Hotel General Managers’ Conference
The 19th Annual General Managers’ Master Innholders’ Conference, organized by the Master Innholders, will take place at The London Hilton Park Lane on 16 and 17 January 2012.
Recognised as the industry’s premier annual forum, the conference is the only event designed by general managers for general managers. This year’s conference will be opened by The Right Honourable Lord Sebastian Coe KBE, Chairman of The London Organising Committee for the Olympic Games 2012, winner of four Olympic Gold medals and holder of 11 world records in middle distance running.
Guest speakers include Danny Meyer the legendary New York Restaurateur and CEO of The Union Square Hospitality Group (USHG). Three of the top 5 Restaurants in the 2011 New York Sagat survey are part of USHG. Danny is also author of the New York Times Sunday Times Best Seller, Setting the Table, in which he examines the power of hospitality in restaurants, business and life.
The conference programme has been designed to appeal to general managers from smaller owner-managed hotels to large five star hotels.
On the first night, Mark Lewis editor of The Caterer and Hotelkeeper will present the just announced 2011 ‘Hotelier of the Year’ Steven Carter at a gala dinner.
