Lancashire Female Chef Shortlisted for Prestigious Award

Lancashire born chef, Lisa Allen, head chef of Northcote has been shortlisted for ‘Hotel Chef of the Year’ (fewer than 250 covers) at the Hotel Cateys Awards 2012.
The Hotel Cateys awards were launched in 2007 to celebrate the achievement of hotelier staff and provide the recognition they deserve. Fighting it out with Lisa in this category is; Richard Allen, Grand Jersey; Paul Gayler, The Lanesborough, London; and Stephen Smith, The Devonshire Arms Country House Hotel and Spa.
Commenting on the awards, Lisa said, “I am delighted to be shortlisted for the awards. The calibre of chefs is extremely high in this category and I wish everyone the best of luck.”
The awards ceremony takes place on Friday 16th November at the Lancaster London, where the winners will be revealed.
