Luke Johnson to headline the Arena Christmas Lunch 2012
October 12, 2012
Entrepreneur Luke Johnson, Founder & Chairman, Risk Capital Partners, will provide the exciting finale to the 2012 calendar of Arena events.

Luke has been confirmed as guest speaker for The Arena Christmas Lunch on Monday 3 December 2012 at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London.
Luke is probably best known for his impact on Pizza Express. In 1993 he took control with partners and subsequently became chairman. He grew the business from 12 owned restaurants to over 250, and the share price from 40p to over 900p, before he sold out in 1999.
His incredible CV, which also includes starting the Strada restaurant concept from scratch and former chairman of Channel 4, will make for a fascinating post-lunch address.
Industry experts Horizons will add value and an extra dimension to the event with a seasonal digest of 2012, and a look ahead to 2013. Using its extensive knowledge of the foodservice market, Horizons will give its perspective on the winners and losers of 2012, including what worked, what didn’t work and why, and what we can learn from the highs and lows. It will also consider what lies ahead for operators in 2013, focusing on the political and economic landscape, key trends and the ones to watch.
The not-to-be-missed event starts at 10.30am with the Horizons presentation, followed by a lively networking drinks reception, a spectacular three-course lunch and Luke’s fascinating and motivating address.
Tickets cost £135 plus VAT for Arena members and £175 plus VAT for non members.
