Leading hospitality industry figures will celebrate the 50th anniversary of The Restaurant Association with a special dinner on Tuesday 27th June 2017 at The Dorchester, Park Lane.
The theme of the RA’s 50th Birthday Dinner, Then and Now, is a celebration of the last half century of the hospitality industry while raising funds for Action Against Hunger, which has been leading the fight against global hunger for 40 years.
It’s a time both to reflect on the achievements of the last century and look ahead at what is an important time for an industry facing wide-ranging challenges and issues, such as Brexit and increased costs.
Top Chefs are expected to attend including Claire Smyth MBE, Brian Turner CBE, Nick Jones, and Thomas Keller. Well-known businesses from across the UK and other leading names in the industry will also be in attendance. The event will also commend 50 outstanding Chefs for their craftsmanship.
Speakers include both David Lowie (D&D), chairman and Robert Walton MBE, president of The Restaurant Association, now part of the British Hospitality Association.
Ufi Ibrahim, CEO of the British Hospitality Association and The Restaurant Association said:
