A privately run, small and friendly hotel in a market garden town, The Evesham Hotel prides itself on excellent value and service in a relaxed and happy atmosphere. With 40 individually designed bedrooms including some ‘character’ rooms, we constantly strive to maintain a personal and welcoming, but unobtrusive touch.
We have 40 individually designed bedrooms as well as a separate bungalow – ‘Mulberry’ – consisting of one double room, one twin room, a bath & walk in shower, and a large sitting room. ‘Mulberry’ is especially suitable for disabled or family use.
All our rooms, diligently prepared for your comfortable stay by our long-serving, experienced team of Chambermaids, include all the usual facilities and comforts.
Just like our rooms, we also offer a very wide range of quality food and drink. All our food is fresh and prepared on the premises under the skillful eyes of our Head Chef, Ben Whatcott.
Starting in the morning, with a large choice at breakfast (7-9.30am Mon-Fri and 8-10am weekends and bank holidays), including traditional English breakfast options right down to black pudding and kippers. At lunch (12.30-2pm) and dinner (7-9.30pm) we offer an à la carte menu, a plain menu and of course a junior à la carte for the youngsters which is also available at high tea. A recent addition to our dinner options, is our mid-week specials menu that changes weekly and provides some home-style cooking. A good selection of vegetarian dishes are available across the menus and we are always happy to cater for other requests where possible.
At lunch time we also have ‘The Evesham Hotel Buffet’.
The Evesham Hotel buffet has become very popular, just about to enter its 35th year.
Its main advantage is that it’s quick (if you’re in a hurry, if not just relax) and the most varied meal you can get in probably any restaurant in the land.
It’s an amazingly wide panorama of cold meat, fish, salads & even more salads plus quiche, jacket spuds, sausages & a varied hot pasta/rice/spud dish.
We have built our popularity on the bedrock that we are a super, good value base from which to tour the Cotswolds, Stratford, Warwick, the Malverns, Wye Valley and even the Midlands’ Industrial archaeological area (a contradiction in terms?!). As we are centrally located, we are also a good midway point for meeting friends or relatives at either end of the country.
Nestling in the valley of the Avon (Shakespeare’s Avon) and River Severn, the Vale of Evesham is a very fertile horticultural ‘garden of Eden’ with a long history of asparagus, soft fruit and a mild climate.
