Accessible Tourism Charity Transforms Itself with Launch of New Website and Online Toolset

Tourism for All (TFA) is excited to announce the launch of its brand new website, training platform and exclusive market intelligence bulletin. The launch sees the charity re-invent itself through three new initiatives.

TFA Training is TFA’s new state of the art online training platform. It allows TFA to build modular training courses, including interactive features like videos and quizzes, that will equip TFA’s Partners and their staff to provide great service to disabled customers. TFA Training will feature courses that cover all aspects of customer service, from disability and accessibility awareness to specialised technical and practical training.

TFA’s brand new and exclusive market intelligence bulletin – TFAQ’s – has been created to provide businesses and organisations with intelligence and insight to help them to understand the scope and value of the accessible tourism and travel market, the needs and wishes of the customers who make up that market and how to address those needs and wishes cost effectively to maximise their return from the accessible tourism and travel market. TFAQ’s will appear 4
times a year and will combine new and updated survey-based research, carried out with TFA’s own community of tourists and travellers and with Partners’ own customer bases, with expert opinion from TFA’s own pool of expertise and from Partners.

TFA’s new website - www.tourismforall.org.uk - has been designed to meet the needs of the audiences with which TFA works: individuals, businesses, policy makers and healthcare professionals. Visitors to the website will be able to learn more about – and subscribe to – the wide range of services which TFA delivers to those audiences, which include our personalised travel information service, online training, market intelligence, business promotion and our new Healthcare Professionals Register, which makes TFA’s services available to the clients of healthcare professionals at reduced rates.

Tim Gardiner MBE, Tourism for All’s Chairman, commented that “it is only with the support and involvement of organisations and individuals who understand the massive business opportunity that accessible tourism and travel presents and who have enthusiastic and well informed staff that TFA can achieve its aims, and I am confident that our new website, training platform and market intelligence bulletin will prompt businesses of all sizes to engage with this important and growing market”.

Tourism for All UK is a small, vibrant national charity, which has been the voice of accessible tourism and travel in the UK since 1981. We work with disabled tourists and travellers, the tourism and travel industry and policy makers, to “take the disability out” of tourism and travel and achieve our goal of Tourism for ALL.
