Barcode Expo, a brand new trade exhibition for the bar, restaurant and cafe industry, is on the hunt for the North West’s brightest new hospitality entrepreneur.

The event, which will take place in Camp & Furnace in Liverpool’s Baltic Quarter on the 13th October 2015, will bring together hotel, bar, café and restaurant owners with decision makers and trade exhibitors from across the industry for a programme of networking, demonstration, sampling and expert seminars.

Barcode Expo competition, will search for a new business in the North West region which wants to build its customer base in the hospitality industry.

The winner will be given the chance to join a host of national businesses exhibiting at the event, including Costco, Molson Coors, ReFood, and Fentimans, giving them the opportunity to network with prospective customers, meet key decision makers and raise their profile in the North West region.

The judging panel will be made of Denise Harris, Director of Barcode Expo and The Liverpool Food and Drink Festival; Frank McKenna, CEO of private sector lobbying group and networking club Downtown in Business and Chris McKennna, Head of Events at Downtown in Business. Also on the panel is Paul Askew, Former Director of the highly acclaimed hope street hotel and London Carriage Works Restaurant and a member of the Royal Academy of the Culinary Art and the talent behind The Art School restaurant.

The judges will assess entries on originality, quality and likely demand in the hospitality industry.

To be eligible to enter, businesses must:

-       Have been operational for no more than two years

-       Have a turnover of less than £100,000

-       Supply services/products which would be of interest to the hospitality industry (e.g. food, drink, interior design, glassware etc)

-       Be available all day on 13th October.
