Used to developing customer focus in industries unaccustomed to it, in the NHS he revolutionised the use of information by combining a whole range of diverse information products and services to meet the needs of different customer groups and worked on the launch of NHS Choices the public health information website with 14m visits a month. He graduated from York University with a First in History, but before any of this earned his hospitality spurs spending many years waitering at numerous events at Earls Court and Olympia in London.
