HRS.COM announces winners of Hotel Excellence Awards 2010
HRS.com, The Hotel Portal, have announced the winners of the third annual HRS.com Hotel Excellence Awards in association with the British Hospitality Association (BHA) and the Best Practice Forum. The winners, a mix of small and large hotels*, were presented with their awards at an exclusive lunch ceremony hosted by Simon Calder, Travel Editor of The Independent, TV and Radio presenter.
The unique HRS.com Hotel Excellence Awards were created in 2008 to showcase best practice in the UK hotel industry and to recognise outstanding achievement. The Awards have grown from strength to strength since launching and to illustrate this, a number of industry heavyweights including Sir Rocco Forte, Sir David Michels, and Christopher Rodrigues pledged their support to the 2010 Awards by becoming Ambassadors of the event.
There were nine categories in the HRS.com Hotel Excellence Awards covering everything from staff training and customer service through to CSR and marketing.
