BHA lobbying work
The BHA's lobbying work in Westminster, Brussels, Wales and Scotland ensures the voices of hospitality businesses are heard when and where it matters - particularly when costly, complex and onerous new legislation is being proposed.
The BHA also works with Regional Development Agencies in England and other tourism organisation to seek their support for the industry.
We identify the key issues and formulate clear policies to reflect the views and needs of our members.
We develop relationships with key British and European policy makers and those who influence them, so that our members' views are communicated effectively and are taken into account and acted upon.
The BHA strives to update members frequently via the BHA website, e-zine and weekly Business Update.
The Business Update is a vital tool to canvas member opinion and inform on the various legislative changes.
