AHDB Cereals & Oilseeds is calling on the hospitality industry to get involved with Breakfast Week which takes place between 24th and 30th January 2016.
The annual awareness campaign, now in its 17th year, is run on behalf of UK cereal farmers and processors. Backed by extensive PR activity, the campaign provides a platform for foodservice and hospitality venues to get involved to showcase their breakfast offer and be part of a national campaign. Previous participants have seen benefits that include attracting new custom and higher sales as a result of taking part.
Campaign Manager, Karen Levy said “It’s really easy to get involved with Breakfast Week. We have lots of suggestions for participation on our website www.shakeupyourwakeup.com from launching a new menu item, running a promotional offer, to simply joining in the breakfast conversation online.”
Free resources featuring updated branding are also available for businesses taking part in Breakfast Week, including recipe booklets, stickers and posters.
