One of the AA’s Inspector’s Choice Hotels 2010/2011, Judges Country House Hotel, an AA 3 Red Star Country House with 3 Rosettes, is one of the finest hotels and restaurants not only in the Middlesbrough area but also in the United Kingdom as a whole.

The hotel’s 21 guestrooms, gourmet restaurant, private dining rooms, gym and beauty clinic are all set in its own 22 acres of immaculate gardens.

Rooms

The 21 beautifully decorated guest rooms of the house have emerged after extensive renovation. Offering ten deluxe rooms which are individually furnished and include two suites, three rooms with four-poster beds and the remaining with traditional sleigh beds.

Nine rooms are superior guest rooms, again all individually furnished and two guest rooms are single rooms.

Guests can enjoy panoramic views of our gardens and surrounding woodlands.

All of our guest rooms are located in the main house and are all charming,hand- appointed and range in size and opulence.

Additionally, all of our guest rooms feature deluxe Egyptian linen.

Dining

The house enjoys a fine reputation for first class cuisine, wines and service, which offers both informal and formal dining.

The Conservatory Restaurant offers dishes all prepared to 3 AA rosette standard. A more informal experience that offers the highest quality of service and food to be found anywhere in the area.

Private dining for up to 8 guests in our wine cellar which is home to 500 bins.
