Lainston House Hotel is a charming 17th century country house standing elegantly in 63 acres of beautiful Hampshire parkland. As you sweep into the courtyard, delicate archways and loggias frame the picture perfect entrance and a small amble reveals a beautiful 12th century chapel ruin and pretty dovecote.
All of our 50 bedrooms are individually styled and designed so that no two are the same. And whether you are here for work or play, we want to ensure that you get a very good night’s sleep and every room is equipped with little extras to help including a choice of different pillows and hand-sewn mattresses!
The hotel’s elegant Avenue Restaurant (3 AA Rosettes) takes its name from the magnificent mile long avenue of lime trees viewed from the tables. Ideal for lunch or dinner it also has a beautiful covered terrace perfect for outside dining in summer months. The Cedar Bar has one of the finest collections of Armagnac’s and cognacs outside London, some of which date back to 1811.
Our ancient walled Kitchen Garden has been restored beyond its former glory and supplies the hotel’s
award-winning kitchen with fresh herbs and vegetables and is a charming location for early evening drinks parties or afternoon tea.
We specialise in providing perfect wedding days here at Lainston House. We know how special your day is, so we are delighted to guarantee that yours will be the only wedding reception that the venue will host.
