All bedrooms are also equipped with free wi-fi internet access.
Restaurant
In our restaurants we are committed to sourcing the finest seasonal produce from local suppliers in order to reduce the number of food miles travelled, thereby reducing our carbon footprint. This move is part of our efforts to become a more environmentally responsible business.
The Oak Room restaurant was the original dining room of Sir Edward Ansell in the 1900s and it has an enviable reputation for fine dining. By day it has sweeping views across Moor Hall golf course, by night there is a cosy and intimate atmosphere, making it perfect for a relaxed evening out or a special celebration.
The Oak Room offers an extensive seasonal fixed price menu from which to choose plus a selection of Chef’s Specials and vegetarian options and the Head Chef uses only the best of fresh, seasonal and local ingredients to create his modern interpretations of classic dishes which are cooked with imagination and served with style. The hotel’s commitment to the use of local produce is illustrated by the inclusion of food miles on the menus which show the distance the main ingredient of each dish has travelled from field to plate.
