The hotel’s newly-refurbished Lakes Restaurant is open to the public, members and hotel guests – commanding superb views over the lake and 18th greens of both championship golf courses, the “Gainsborough” and “Constable”. The restaurant opens out onto the south terrace which in the summer provides an idyllic area for al fresco dining, pre-dinner drinks and canapés, a barbeque, or simply the perfect place to relax and enjoy the magnificent panoramic scenery.

Our Executive Head Chef and his team pride themselves in creating exquisite dishes from around the world, using fresh ingredients sourced locally wherever possible.

Golf

Set amidst 300 acres of some of the most picturesque countryside to be found in Suffolk, Stoke by Nayland Golf Club lives up to its founder, Devora Peake’s description as the “Jewel in the Crown” of the family businesses.

Established in 1972, the two 18-hole championship golf courses were created in a designated “Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty” and provide some of the finest golfing facilities in the East of England. The club is ideal for Golf days and Golf breaks as a golfing gift or Golf present

The Club enjoys a superb reputation and is a regular venue for prestigious Pro-Ams, County, National and International Championships, and corporate golfing events. Stoke by Nayland’s international profile has been raised by the worldwide television coverage of its prestigious PGA European Senior Tour events as well as the PGA Europro Tour and European Challenge Tour.

To complement the two outstanding courses, a stunning new glass-fronted clubhouse provides members and guests with excellent bar and dining facilities with superb panoramic views over the lake, 1st tee and both 18th tees and greens.

Stoke by Nayland Golf Club is widely respected for the friendly atmosphere, and warm greeting that every visitor receives from staff and members alike.

In the warmer months members and guests can sit and relax outside on the new south-facing terraces on both levels of the two-storey cluhouse, and enjoy a drink or meal whilst watching their fellow golfer complete their rounds. A popular feature of the Club is the way in which both courses culminate in full view of the clubhouse, after a challenging drive from the final tees to 18th greens across the largest of the four lakes.

Spa

Peake Spa at the Stoke by Nayland Hotel is one of the premier health spas in East Anglia.  It offers luxurious poolside facilities, a high tech gymnasium and blissfully relaxing treatments. Our pampering Spa Days and bespoke Spa Break packages provide something for everyone – and our gift vouchers are ideal for any special occasion.

There are 12 treatment rooms in Peake Spa – including exotic Rasoul and Hammam suites - and a wide range of health and beauty therapies are offered. Guests can enjoy tailor-made facials and massages for both men and women using the excellent Decleor range of skin products, as well as aromatherapy, reflexology, CACI non-surgical face lifts, Microdermabrasion, Indian Head Massage, manicures, pedicures, St. Tropez tanning and waxing.

Conference & Events

Whatever your business needs, the purpose-built conference centre provides nine flexible meeting rooms of various configurations, all of which have full air-conditioning, free Wifi, natural daylight and private terraces overlooking the lake or golf courses.

These suites are ideal for a product launch, conference, team-  building event, business lunch or boardroom meeting. They include the magnificent Devora Suite which can accommodate up to 450 people theatre style and a further five function and syndicate rooms with flexible configuration. There is also an area for car launches, a rare facility in the region.

One of our unique features is our ability to accommodate a 250 delegate conference in one room and seat the same number for lunch or dinner in an adjoining function room.
