The Pier at Harwich offers two superb restaurants, each very different in style and atmosphere, giving guests plenty of choice.On the first floor, the Harbourside certainly has the WOW factor with a polished pewter bar on the upper level – perfect for pre-dinner drinks or maybe a glass or two of Champagne and oysters. The views from the restaurant take in the Stour and Orwell estuaries and the harbour below.
The Harbourside specialises in seafood much of which is landed in the harbour opposite and head Chef Chris Oakley who has been at The Pier since it opened in 1978 makes full use of the fresh produce available.
