Grosvenor House, A JW Marriott Hotel is thrilled to announce bestselling author, Santa Montefiore for its next Literati event on 8th April 2014.

Santa will present her latest novel “Secrets of the Lighthouse” ahead of its UK paperback release with both external residents and Grosvenor House guests.

In “Secrets of the Lighthouse”, Santa tells the story of Ellen Trawton and Caitlin Macausland. Ellen is running away from London life, a love she doesn't want, a job she doesn't like and a very controlling mother. On retreating to the sanctuary of her Aunt’s rural property in Ireland, Ellen discovers a dark family secret.

Meanwhile Caitlin is mourning a future she will never have. Having died tragically in what the village thinks were suspicious circumstances, she is in limbo, unable to move on. Caitlin’s husband Conor Macausland is in a very lonely place, grieving for his wife. When Conor and Ellen meet there is an undeniable connection…but Caitlin’s spirit is restless and determined that Conor should never love again.

Between Ellen and Caitlin there is an old lighthouse and the setting of much tragedy. Santa Montefiore tells the compelling story of these two women, their divided families, hidden pasts and love that will never die.
