Andrew Guy has had forty years’ experience in the casual dining sector of the Hospitality industry, working in the UK, Europe and the USA.
He has been CEO of Ed’s since early 2011, during which time the number of Diners has grown from three to twenty-thre
e at the end of 2013 and will reach thirty-five before the end of 2014. Before joining the small team who bought Ed’s, he worked for Autogrill Spa of Milan, as UK and Ireland Managing Director in their HMSHost division.
Previous positions include Chief Executive of City Centre Restaurants, now The Restaurant Group, and Operations Director of My Kinda Town Group, opening ‘Chicago Pizza Pie Factory’ and ‘Henry J Beans’ outlets in the UK and half a dozen European countries. In the 1980’s he spent six years in Texas, USA as Operations Director of 1776 Inc., a San Antonio-based restaurant group.
