General Manager at The Crown at Woodbridge
Garth Wray has over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, the vast majority in top managerial positions at prestigious hotels and restaurants across London, Surrey, Somerset and more recently, Suffolk.
Since graduating from Middlesex University Business School with a BSc in Hotel and Restaurant Management, he has worked his way to the top at a variety of properties across the country. His experience includes managerial positions at Golf and Country Clubs, coastal hotels and fine dining restaurants. Also a part-time lecturer in Food & Beverage Management at University Campus Suffolk, his passion for the industry is second to none.
Garth has been with the TA Hotel Collection since 2012, managing seaside destination the Brudenell Hotel in Aldeburgh before taking the reins at 2 AA Rosette restaurant and modern inn, The Crown at Woodbridge in April 2014. His vision at The Crown is ‘a modern inn’, working closely with fantastic Budapest born head chef Daniel Perjesi in celebrating the very best, seasonal produce that Suffolk has to offer. Visitors to area can also enjoy beautiful boutique rooms created by interior designers, Bentheim.
Outside of work, Garth has a young family in the quiet town of Kesgrave and enjoys cinema, reading and sports.
