The Tourism Society Annual Dinner – House of Commons

The Tourism Society hosts its prestigious Annual Dinner at the House of Commons, hosted by the Society's President Lord Thurso MP FTS and attended by Society members and their guests. The black-tie evening includes a drinks reception followed by a delicious three-course meal. Following the after-dinner speeches Lord Thurso will present the Tourism Society Award, given to an organisation or individual that has made a significant contribution to tourism in the UK. Recent winners have included the University of Surrey, Springboard UK, Michel Roux Jr, the National Trust and Ken Livingstone.

·         Viscountess Penelope Cobham, Visit England, will launch English Tourism Week

 The Tourism Society Award Winner for 2014 will be announced

7.45 – dinner announced; Chairman’s welcome
8.00 – dinner served
9.30 – speeches
9.50 – presentation of Tourism Society Award
10.30 – carriages
