The organisers of the annual National Hotel Marketing Conference have launched a spin-off conference for hotels and other venues which host wedding receptions and ceremonies.  The UK WEDDING VENUES MARKETING CONFEENCE is a first-ever conference to help hotel and other venue sales/marketing managers and wedding co-ordinators market their venues better to get more from the lucrative weddings market, a sector which has weathered the recession remarkably well.   The Conference is open to all, and takes place at York Racecourse – “the Ascot of the North” – on Thursday 27th November.  Delegates from national hotel chains and leading independents have already registered, and 12 top speakers, including hoteliers, wedding planners and leading marketing consultants, will deliver presentations and seminars on the day.  The UK Wedding Venues Marketing Conference is supported by the Hotel Marketing Association, and BHA members can reserve a place at the conference either online at – or by calling the conference office on 0845 643 4812 / 01904 438100.
